Are family gatherings around the holidays something you look forward to
When I was married my then husbands family had several members who made me completely miserable at nearly every meeting. The increased tension made me cranky and rotten to those around me and my then spouse and I fought about it every year,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych].

I am no longer going to expose myself to unpleasant people on Xmas" My husband and the kids went with my blessing and I enjoyed a nice afternoon volunteering or just relaxing and we were all happier for it. Funny, I have been divorced five years and my ex mother and brother in law always spend Xmas with me and my children where a good time is had by all.
It's funny how some families know how to have fun and enjoy each other's company while other families sit around and try to be polite but there is underlying tension that makes everyone uncomfortable. I love spending time with my children and grandchildren but my mom always makes me feel nervous even though I know she means well. I think next year I will try to make Christmas fun by playing some games and having some good food and drinks for everyone,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych].
