In early 1980s cheap labor and lack of regulations attracted a lot of companies to maneuver operations offshore.
The Hyde family opted to try to maintain domestic operations. Theirs was an uphill battle but they exhausted all resources within their battle.
The Hyde-Fisher family would not happen to be successful within their efforts to maintain the plant whether it weren't for that commitment,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], performance and strong work ethic of the many skilled craftsmen inside the factory. They are an excellent group of people whom I respect and admire.
