in the areas of the Fuori Salone and Salone Satellite – with the world of Makers and
the Maker Faire, the largest exhibition in the world dedicated to inventiveness,
creativity and initiative, aimed at families and lovers of technology applied in all
forms. The visitors of We Make Open Design in Via Vigevano 35, from 9 – 14 April,

where they can learn how to create interactive objects using Arduino – one of the

projects whose keywords are “real-time production”, “opening codes”, “repairing”
and “sharing”: all concepts belonging to the ongoing makers’ revolution, of which
the first European Maker Faire will be the highlight.
From 3 to 6 October in Campo Boario at the heart of Testaccio in Rome, will in fact
be the location of the Maker Faire Rome – The European Edition: the first
European edition of the Makers Faire, which has been made a reality thanks to an
agreement with the American publishing group which owns the “Maker Faire”
global brand.
