Tomas Kaberle evened the score at 11:26 when he notched his second goal of the season. Tyler Myers then gave the home team a 2-1 lead when he tallied at 15:43. Price turned aside 27 of Buffalo's 30 shots to earn the win with a save percentage of .900, while Miller made 16 saves on 19 shots to finish the game with a .842 save percentage.
Both the Habs and Sabres will play again on Sunday, Feb. 19. The Canadiens will return home to take on the New Jersey Devils, while the Sabres will face the Pittsburgh Penguins.
