Sensors can fail to display accurate data, a watchdog agency said
WASHINGTON, Aug. 8 () -- The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission announced a voluntary recall of LSI wind speed sensors that can mislead machine operators. The LSI wind speed sensors can "fail to display an accurate data reading," the commission said. If that occurs, it could "cause crane operators and others to incorrectly gauge wind conditions, posing a risk of injury from impact to the consumer, michael kors outlet online," the commission said in news release late Wednesday. The sensors were made by Load Systems International of Quebec, louboutin men, Canada. They were sold for about $400 from March 2013 through June 2013.The recall involves LSI Model GS025 with serial numbers 100015 and 100412. They are charcoal-gray with LSI printed on one side and three windspeed cups on the top.Consumers were advised to stop using the sensors and contact LSI for instructions on how to return them for a replacement unit.Consumers can call 888-819-4355 for information.
