SAIC to help Homeland Security on cyber threats
MCLEAN, Va.,[url=http://www.christianalouboutin.co.uk]Christian Louboutin Oulet uk[/url], May 16 () -- Science Applications International Corp. is joining the roster of companies involved in a program to protect U.S. infrastructure against cyber threats.The program by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security is Enhanced Cybersecurity Services, through which private companies such as SAIC become commercial service provider that voluntarily shares information to help the owners and operators of critical infrastructure "protect their systems from unauthorized access, exploitation or data exfiltration.""We must work together to protect our infrastructure, our economy and our security from cyberattacks," said John Thomas, acting president of SAIC's National Security Sector. "If we don't work together, we won't succeed. This is why SAIC is proud to be a part of this endeavor to share valuable threat information between government and critical infrastructure providers."SAIC said it has signed a memorandum of agreement with Homeland Security on joining the initiative. Northrop Grumman announced its participation earlier this week and that it is starting the security accreditation process which is required for the Homeland Security program.
