Another one bites the dust on Celebrity Apprentice
Another week in Cleveland television viewing with a nagging question: Do we look to the good that is being done for charities across the world OR do we simply see celebrities attempting to do good but ultimately fighting like children in a school yard,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych]?
Disagreements,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], arguements,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], injuries and accusations. And,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], finally,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], another celebrity bites the dust. This and more was on tonight's episode of Celebrity Apprentice.
Tonight marked the second episode of the new season featuring 18 new celebrities. The personalities involved haven't improved much since last weeks premiere episode and tempers are all coming to the surface,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych].
Episode 1 - Who are the celebrities?
The challenge this week is to create a Medieval 12 minute performance which the audience will have the final vote to determin who wins - the men or the women. The winning team will be able to present $40,000 to the Project Manager's charity - $20,000 from Donald Trump and $20,000 from the Medieval Times (sponsor of the challenge).
The woman continue to argue, ignore and disagree with everyone and everything. Lisa Lampanelli,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], who is a hands on manager,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], cannot seem to give Victoria Gotti any slack. The men who were struck with injury seem to have alot of "leaders" and not many "followers" although they unanimously agreed that Penn Jillette would be the perfect project manager for this type of challenge. Dee Snider fell off his horse during a rehearsal and had to be taken by EMT's to have his finger xray'd for a fractured finger.
When the performance finally arrived, the duels were:
Men - Lou Ferrigno vs. Paul Teutul, Sr. - the duel winner "wins the hand of Lady Dee Dee Snider" - Lou Ferrigno reigns supreme and when told he could kiss his "bride" - he killed himself. Amazingly, even with his fractured finger,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], Dee Snider performed "beautifully."
Women - Debbie Gibson vs. Teresa Guidice - taking advantage of the event taking place in New Jersey, the ladies incorporated the Real Housewives of New Jersey into their script hoping to reel in the audience. "The Unreal Housewives of Camelot" and the winner won the gift of Sir Donald Trump's love (Lisa Lampanelli). Although the show was described as "corny,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych]," Debbie Gibson stated that she may have had a wardrobe malfunction and show the audience "more than I intended." Teresa Guidice did win - but,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], "Sir Donald Trump" disqualified her. Aubrey O'Day came out as a "Jersey Shore" actress and approached Sir Donald Trump describing him as "her knight in shining armor."
Now, the boardroom. Accusations and criticism from both the men and the women among their teams. Penn Jillette stated if forced to, he would bring Lou Ferrigno and George Takei back to the boardroom - upsetting and angering Ferrigno. Most notably,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], Lisa Lampanelli stating in reference to Victoria Gotti, "don't expect me to be your mother." And Victoria stated that Lisa "was strict,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], really strict." And the night came to an end with Victoria Gotti breaking down in tears.
Tempers were flaring and in the end the mens show was described as having "enormous energy" and received 558 votes. The womens team was described as "looking hot" which was the direction they wanted to go - and received 363 votes. So the final vote . the men won and are able to donate $40,000 to Penn Jillette's charity,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], Opportunity Village. Here lies the question - are we seeing the good that is being done for the charity or simply reality television with childish fighting?
The 3 women brought back to the boardroom were Lisa Lampanelli, Victoria Gotti and Dayana Mendoza. More yelling,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], more fighting and more tears. Donald Trump's final word to the ladies in the boardroom: "And when you add everything all up. Victoria, you're fired!!"
What do you think of tonight's episode? Did you come away from the show looking to see "what can I do to make a difference?" Because at the end of the day, that is what we need to ask ourselves.
