Though this latest press statement of a new Chris Carter movie goes out of its way to say it's "not supernatural", it's hard to say whether the film will not have some genre aspects. After all,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], it's Chris Carter, series creator of "The X-Files" and "Millennium" and director of the upcoming sequel X-Files: I Want to Believe. That and the plot concept is being kept secret much like many of Carter's previous credits in the business.
Apparently, Carter has been leading this new dark drama called Fencewalker as a side project while shooting the X-Files sequel and HR is reporting that it stars Natalie Dormer ("The Tudors"),[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], Katie Cassidy, Xzibit,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], Derek Magyar and Meckah Brooks. Production is already underway for the film in the Los Angeles area,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], including Carter's hometown of Bellflower. No distributor is named yet but Carter is financing it himself.
Carter and 20th Century Fox has also changed the official website around for the X-Files sequel, including new downloads,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], ringtones, a chatroom, a widget and extra goodies for fans awaiting the sequel July 25, 2008.

I'm stoked about the X-files sequel. It's my next thing to look forward to, after The Dark Knight comes out of course! I like Carter's work, but has he done anything else,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], movie wise, than the X-Files movies? Is he trying to break free of this? Because it kind of comes across like he is using all of us. He dangles a sequel in front of everybody and then comes out with something like this. Maybe he contracted it with FOX. Watch. If you read that it's being done with FOX than you know he put this movie in his contract to do a sequel for them. I mean what else does it look like? Oh he's just been taking a break.
