It is a cost-plus-fixed-fee task order under the Navy's SeaPort-enhanced indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity, multiple award contract and could run for five years."We have a long and successful history of providing critical network and communications support to our customers around the world," said Ken Hunzeker, president of the Mission Systems division of Exelis. "This selection is a critical part of our work with the naval services and positions us to be able to provide this service to the Navy and Marine Corps globally."Services to be provided under the award include communications and network support for maritime operations centers, network operations centers, satellite Earth terminals, and globally deployed Navy vessels.
