| 'Jeffersons' actor Ned Wertimer dead at 89
LOS ANGELES, Jan. 9 () -- Character actor Ned Wertimer has died at the Sherman Village Health Care Center near Los Angeles after a fall in late November, his manager said. He was 89.The Hollywood Reporter confirmed his Jan. 2 death on Wednesday.Wertimer is best known for playing Ralph the doorman for 11 seasons on the CBS sitcom "The Jeffersons."
