Not much improvement on injury front for Giants
APThe Giants have been hampered by injuries on their way to an 0-4 record and it doesn't look like they'll be in much better shape as they try to avoid a fifth loss against the Eagles this weekend.Ralph Vacchiano of the New York Daily News reports that guard Chris Snee and center David Baas both missed practice again on Thursday and that they are both unlikely to play on Sunday. There have been reports that Snee may need season-ending hip surgery and Baas has been suffering from a neck injury that kept him out of the Week Four loss to the Chiefs. If both are out, the Giants could turn to David Diehl at right guard after starting James Brewer there last week. Diehl hasn't played yet this season because of a thumb injury,Christian Louboutin Geo Pump, but dressed for last week's loss. The Giants signed former Eagle Dallas Reynolds to add to their interior depth this week as well.Vacchiano reports that they were joined on the sideline by cornerback Corey Webster. Webster has missed the last two games with what was listed as a hip injury but is now listed as a groin injury, but was able to practice on Wednesday. The Giants were also without cornerbacks Aaron Ross and Jayron Hosley for the second straight day,Christian Louboutin Pigalle, which could mean that they're very thin at corner for the date with the Eagles. |
